Connection Audison DA1bit MOST/bit Interface

- DA1 bit has been specifically developed to be interfaced with the Audison bit one / bit Ten D, thus allowing direct digital audio MOST signal transfer to achieve the highest sound quality. DA1 bit, in fact, features TOSLINK optical output for the Audison bit one / bit Ten D to transfer audio data in PCM format 16bit-44.1kHz or 48kHz (related to the car specifications) as well as audio controls of the OEM headunit on the signal: volume, balance and tone controls. Volume, balance and tone controls are then allowed to be controlled directly from the OEM headunit without using the Audison DRC - Digital Remote Control.
- DA1 bit is programmable, through an SD CARD and its specifically developed software, to be interfaced with different cars. Thus a single product allows interfacing with several different car manufacturers such as: AUDI, BMW, MERCEDES and so on.... DA1 bit is factory set to work with MERCEDES cars but it can be programmed for different cars once installed.
- DA1 bit is fully updatable, also using an SD CARD and its software, both in terms of firmware and car compatibility to meet the future new cars requirements. This feature makes DA1 bit an unlimited product in its applications, ready to face the fast “automotive” market developments. Furthermore if DA1 bit is not compatible with a car it will write an error report into a text file (*.txt) in the SD CARD that, once sent to technical account by mail, can be analyzed by the technicians to discover the cause of un-compatibility and possible solution.
- DA1 bit has been designed for an easy and back-to-OEM installation, in case of car exchange or car long-renting contract expiring. No need to search for hidden cables or cut them to draw their signals, simply replace the car OEM amplifier with the DA1 bit (if the car features OEM amplifier) or insert the DA1 bit into the MOST ring (if the car is not equipped with OEM amplifier). You just need to disconnect the optical fibers from the OEM amplifier and left it installed in the car instead of removing the OEM amplifier.
- DA1 bit is provided with a BY-PASS function which offers the possibility of the DA1 bit disappearing from the MOST ring, allowing car service at an authorized service center avoiding that the diagnostic system gets an error. The procedure to activate the BY-PASS function is very simple and fully described in the DA1 bit owner’s manual.
- Through the DA1 bit it is possible to transfer the original car audio signal to the Audison bit one / bit Ten D thus permitting 100% multimedia and drive assistance functions recovery such as hands-free phone interface, navigation, parking sensors....etc....etc.
- DA1 bit automatically turns on/off when the MOST ring signal wakes-up/shuts-down; it also provides a Remote Out turn on/off signal to turn on/off the Audison bit one / bit Ten D.
